About Hybrid Runners
What is a Runner?
A Runner is a lightweight agent that you install on your internal servers, laptops, or cloud instances. It allows Proveably to scan assets behind your firewall and verify local security configurations.
Installation
Download the binary for your OS, then run the enrollment command provided when you click "Register New Runner". You can also install it as a system service for continuous monitoring:
./endpoint-agent install --server https://api.proveably.com ...
Capabilities
- Internal Scanning: Scan localhost or internal IP ranges.
- Compliance Checks: Verify disk encryption, firewall, screen lock, etc.
- Audit: Track installed software, user accounts, and open ports.
- File Integrity: Monitor critical system files for unauthorized changes.
